Bill Clark on Galana River Patrol
Case Statement Problem: Wildlife herds are being decimated at an alarming rate for animal parts   including Ivory, Rhino horns, Lion bones, skins, etc. by illegal poaching. Game preserves and conservatories span vast tracks of land that must be monitored by a handful of Park Wardens and Park Rangers Poachers have increased the lethality of their tactics in recent years. They now use rocker propelled grenades, automatic rifles, night vison googles and employ ambushes and snipers to kill Park Rangers Solution/Approach Park Rangers have been using small “Bush “ planes such as Super Cubs and Huskys to monitor the vast land areas of these wildlife parks. For example the Tsavo National Park in Kenya is the size of the State of New Jersey. Our Organization Wings4Wildlife is dedicated to helping to outfit Park Rangers with suitable airplanes, equipment and training to allow them to safely and effectively accomplish their mission.
