Wings4Wildlife is a services organization with all funds applied directly to providing those services consistent with our mission. All aircraft and pilots are provided to the organization at no cost. Therefore the funds are used exclusively for direct aircraft operating expenses, including fuel costs and fees associated with transportation to research sites. Since most conservation work is conducted with a minimum of funding (‘on a shoe string’) it is sometimes necessary to cover the fuel costs for worthy projects that can not afford to cover them on their own.
There are no paid staff members. All staff members volunteer their time and cover their own expenses. Only a small sum is used to cover administration expenses. Accounting services are provided pro bono by Mr. Sam Gluck; legal services by Mr. David Stern. Their assistance is greatly appreciated.
Most of the funds to date have been graciously provided by Alan & Kim Parnass, supplemented by generous donations by their personal friends and family. We hope we can add your name to this list of ‘special’ friends.
In 2007 we started offering safari consulting and booking services to supplement other funding sources. To obtain more information on this service click here to view this web page.
Donations of any amount will be gratefully received. Although the support of wildlife conservation can be achieved in many ways, unlike other organizations most of the money we receive goes directly to field activities, and not to overhead and operating expenses. The benefits of your contributions will be immediately visible through the many projects it funds.
