 As a means to raise funds for the work that Wings4Wildlife performs we have joined forces with one of the leading safari camp operators in Southern Africa, Okavango Wilderness Safaris. Through their travel agent representative here in the U.S, who specializes exclusively on Africa, we are able to arrange a safari anywhere on the African continent.
We offer safari consulting and travel bookings to any African destination with a special concentration in East African and Southern African countries. Personally we have 15 years of experience in Africa both as tourists and in conjunction with our volunteer work for research projects. Our travels have taken us to every country  throughout this part of Africa. We have visited more than 50 of the most popular safari camps and lodges and enjoyed over 300 game drives. Additionally we have visited the endangered Mountain Gorillas in both Uganda and Rwanda. Over the course of nine trips to the continent we have spent more than two years in Africa.
This year we will be leading an escorted safari to Botswana. Our stops include a water camp in the Okavango delta, our favorite camp in the Linyanti area of Northern Botswana, and Mombo Camp on Chiefs Island in the Moremi Game Reserve. Mombo is considered the crown jewel of Botswana noted for its luxurious accommodations and unparalleled game viewing. To enhance our guest’s experience and provide greater insight into the challenges of preserving these natural treasures we will be joined by conservation experts and animal researchers. We are now planning similar safaris for the 2008 season.
Through our travel agent partner we can offer complete trip planning including air travel, ground travel, all pre and post safari land and travel arrangements, plus all safari accommodations and activities. The cost of the safari is comparable to any other booking organization; however, a portion of the cost of the land bookings is donated to Wings4Wildlife, Inc. as a tax deductible donation. Upon completion of your trip you will receive a donation letter indicating the portion of your travel costs that have been given to our non profit foundation.
