Mission
To provide volunteer aviation services to Wildlife Conservation and Animal Research projects throughout Eastern and Southern Africa.
Wings4Wildlife, Inc. was founded by Alan and Kim Parnass in September, 2003. It is a Colorado, USA based nonprofit corporation operating under the rules established under section 501 (C) 3 of the Internal Revenue Service tax code.
The organization and its mission grew out of a combined passion for the animal population inhabiting the African continent, and the thrill and exhilaration of flying a small airplane throughout this special place. After numerous trips to Africa it became obvious that an airplane was an essential tool in helping field research teams conduct their work and better achieve their goals. By making an airplane and pilot available at no cost the benefits went beyond the obvious monetary savings over hiring a commercial operator. Through the ongoing availability of an appropriately equipped aircraft many vital tasks could be achieved on a daily basis, greatly enhancing the accuracy of research work.
Wings4Wildlife is committed to enlisting qualified and dedicated pilots who will donate their time and resources to expand our volunteer activities, helping us to support as many worthwhile conservation projects as possible.
